Difference Between Available Balance and Balance?

I have an E*Trade account. What is the difference between Available Balance and Balance? I have a slight difference between these numbers. Thank you!|||Yes, could be pending transactions, or could be a reserve requirement they make you keep which you cannot spend.|||The balance may include pending transactions. The available balance is the amount you can actually use.
