What is the difference between ACCOUNT BALANCE and AVAILABLE BALANCE?

i got a balance receit and the account balance was 20 and the available balance was lyk 50

its a debit card.

how can the available balance be more than the account balance?

or is it a printing mistake?

help im worried now|||There are some things in your account that haven't fully cleared yet. For instance if you've just made a deposit, they don't automatically make all that money available instantly,

Your available balance is the maximum amount that you could have access to right that second, the account balance listed is what your balance will be once everything they're aware of has cleared.|||The available balance is how much is immediately available to you, the account balance is how much is currently in the account.

I generally see this type of difference when I have deposited a check, and my bank us awaiting approval of the funds.

Peace to you|||The available balance is the amount you can withdraw. The account balance is the total amount in your account -- which includes that which is not available to you immediately (usually while verifying a deposit).|||It has to do with pending transactions. Account balance takes into consideration all CLEARED transactions as where available balance is your account balance plus the net of your pending transactions. Sojmetimes transactions take a few days to clear the bank.|||That do not sound right. I would advised you to talk with bank in regards to this matter. Normally you available balance would be less than than the account balance. Unless they were having problems with there system.
