Is my available balance really available for use?

I just made a deposit in my checking account. Although the transaction is still pending, the money already appears in my available balance. My available balance is now higher than my current balance. Can I use this money or would I be risking an overdraw?|||You risk overdrawing your account. Pending balances are balances that the bank knows is their but has not posted yet- Usually hits at midnight. Wait until tomorrow %26amp; make sure it has posted or you could have a problem.|||Your best bet would be to call the bank and ask them. All banks are different so it would be hard to say.
