Balance and Available Balance are still different?

So I ordered an item online through my debit card. After that, the money was deducted from my available balance. Why is it only that one and not my current balance as well? I heard that they were suppose to balance out soon but when? It's been about 3 days since I ordered the item.|||There's a hold on the transaction amount. When the transaction actually processes and posts, it will be subtracted from you balance as well. Your available balance reflects transactions that have not actually posted to your account.|||~~You are not able to pay for anything online with a debit card, so it switched it to a credit card (you have a Mastercharge or Visa logo on your card. Therefore since it was not a debit it will not come out of your true balance until it's proofed (meaning processed thru your bank).

If you purchased it after closing hours on Friday then it will not be removed from your true balance until Tuesday morning. Very important to notice this too as it is what causes most overdrafts. After the closing hours of a bank nothing but actual debits will be deducted or credited to your account until the end (usually sometime thru the night when the system is updated) of the following business day.~~|||All that stuff is done doing normal bank business hours. Trust me it will balance out. Just go by your available balance.
